THE TURKISH MINISTRY OF INTERIOR SENT A "TAXI INSPECTION" CIRCULAR TO THE GOVERNORSHIPS OF 81 CITIES.

The Turkish Ministry of Interior sent a "taxi inspection" circular to the governors of 81 cities.

The circular that was sent says: If the police teams determine that the taxis are not taking passengers, the passengers should be put in the taxi.

If the taxi driver insists on not picking up passengers, legal action will be taken. Taxi driver can be banned from traffic.

THE USE OF PLASTIC BAGS DECREASED BY 75 PERCENT

The Ministry of Environment and Urbanization banned single-use plastic bags from being free on January 1, 2019. Thus, the use of single-use plastic bags has decreased by 75 percent. 354 thousand tons of plastic waste was prevented.

STANDARD & POOR'S RAISES TURKEY'S ECONOMIC GROWTH FORECAST

International credit rating agency Standard & Poor's has announced its economic growth forecast for Turkey.

Standard & Poor's raised Turkey's economic growth forecast for 2021 from 6.1 percent to 8.8 percent.

In Germany, the SPD won the elections with 25.7 percent of the vote.

 The SPD had 206 deputies in the federal parliament.

There are 735 deputies in the German federal parliament. The SPD was the political party with the most deputies.

The Turkish Grand National Assembly entered its new legislative session.
The new era has started with the early election debates between the government party and the opposition parties.

EXPORTS IN TURKEY INCREASED BY 51.9% IN AUGUST

Turkish exporters have achieved their best August sales to date, while the nation's 12-month rolling foreign sales also reached a new all-time high. Exports climbed 52% to $18.9 billion (TL 156 billion) last month. Imports rose 23.8% year-on-year to $23.2 billion in August, the data showed. The exports-to-imports coverage ratio jumped 15.1 points to 81.5%.

INFLATION FIGURES ANNOUNCED

According to the Turkish statistical agency, annual consumer inflation rose to 19.58 percent in September.
Turkey's consumer inflation rate in August was 19.25 percent.
The Central Bank set an interest rate of 18 percent and the gap between consumer inflation widened.
Coal was the product with the highest increase in September. Coal received an average increase of 33.72 percent in a month.

OĞUZHAN ASİLTÜRK PASSED AWAY
Oğuzhan Asiltürk, chairman of the high advisory board of the Saadet Party, passed away. Asiltürk had been receiving treatment at a hospital in Ankara for a while.
